The Empire National Bank Building in Clarksburg, WV, is embarking on an exhilarating journey of transformation, soon to be known as Empire1907. As we step into the next few years, our vision for Empire1907 is to create a vibrant, multi-use space that will become the heart and soul of Clarksburg. We are thrilled to announce that MVB Bank has committed to a 5-year lease, marking the beginning of this exciting journey.
The ground floor of Empire1907 will be home to the Empire National Brewery, a unique, bank-themed brewery that promises to become a local hotspot. This brewery, paired with a quality restaurant, will offer a unique convenient and affordable experience.
Our ambitious plans include expanding into the basement to create a speakeasy-style area, complete with billiards, a brewing tour, dart boards, and perhaps the most thrilling addition – a bank-themed laser maze. Do you have what it takes to break into the Empire’s Vault undetected? This space will not only serve as a nod to the building’s banking heritage but also provide an unforgettable entertainment experience.
On the second floor, we envision a state-of-the-art CoShare Office Workspace alongside a modern fitness center. This blend of work and wellness facilities is designed to meet the needs of today’s dynamic professionals, offering a flexible and inspiring environment for both creativity and collaboration.
The third floor will include housing – short-term and corporate rentals. These spaces will be tailored to meet the needs of tourists, business travelers and temporary residents, offering them a home away from home with all the amenities they require all while maintaining a bank theme.
Finally, floors four through seven will be transformed into a range of residential units, from cozy studios to spacious three-bedroom apartments.
